As I am out walkin
singin the eydoo
singin it low
singin it high
not too far distant
I hear a yedoo
sung by a lass
and so I draw nigh

Says I lovely lass
I hear ya sing yedoo
you sing it high
you sing it low
I sing the eydoo
let's sing together
O do say yes
can we give it a go?

She smiles and says lad

beneath the blue sky

higher and lower
we sing together
up in the blue sky
